The Valencian company has started a investigation of a prototype for producing hydrogen from recycled aluminum and ammonia in an aqueous base.

The Valencian company Indetec has launched along with "JAP Environmental Energy SL" and "ITE (Institute of Energetic Technology"), a research prototype for producing hydrogen from recycled aluminum and ammonia in aqueous base. This project will be integrated under the LIFE Programme with community funding, which is the only financial instrument of the European Union for the period 2007-2013 that is exclusively dedicated to the environment.


The project name is H2ALRECYCLING (Prototype for producing hydrogen by means of clean water, ammonia and recycled aluminum) and has a budget of 1.1 million euros.
